- At 18 years old I guess I'm not smart enough to get into this private kindergarden. Are you? Take the quiz here.
- Ha! Thought this was funny. For those of you that live in these cities, do you agree?
- Really want to make these tacos (sans the nuts because of allergies)
- How good are your geography skills? Google Maps has a new game and I'm addicted. I played the game for and hour and a half straight.
- I love all things design, especially interior design. Design your own dream room here by answering some questions about your style. I have to say, I tried it out and it was pretty spot on. I even pinned them on my Pinterest.
- "Traveling it the only thing you buy that makes you richer." I completely agree with this quote. Every time I go to a new place, I love immersing myself in the culture, the food, and the locals. Although I like doing touristy things (like who would go to Paris and not see the Eiffel Tower), I loving strolling into a cute cafe and having a pastry and a hot drink. This blog is great for those of you who don't have much time in a city. The site is travel-focused with 12-hour travel guides to popular cities.
- One thing about me is that I LOVE sleeping. Actually, I love my bed. In the morning I will say that it takes me a full 10 minutes to get out of my bed after waking up. Usually I lie in bed thinking about the upcoming day and enjoy the comfort and warmth of the duvet draped over me. Trust me, if I had the option to stay in bed the whole day, I would take it in a heartbeat. I found Parachute a couple of days ago and I like their philosophy: quality bedding without through-the-roof prices. I really have been wanting to buy a set but it's just not practical because my bed in college is a twin and the bedding doesn't come in twin sizes. But for those of you with Full - Cali King beds, I think it's worth checking out. If your not fully committed to taking the plunge and buying bedding online that you haven't felt in person, they offer swatches for $3. Also, if you buy their Venice sleep bundle they will send a bed net to families in Africa to protect against malaria-carrying mosquitos. Check out their blog as well. My favorite is their "The Unwinding Experience" series.
I apologize for the length of the last two bullet points. I guess they were a little more extensive because I talked myself a bit. But hey, I hope you enjoyed learning more about me. When I read other blogs, I love learning more about the blogger; it gives the blog a more personal touch and I feel like I am listening to a friend rather than a stranger.
P.S. Congratulations to Germany on the World Cup win! (I haven't said on the blog, but I am an avid World Cup watcher.)
*** Schweinsteiger, I think you deserve a medal for being the toughest player. You were beat and bleeding yet you still got up and played your heart out. And Kramer as well; hope he's better. He walked off the field a little dazed. Let's not forget about Götze. Amazing substitute that made an amazing goal. As well as Schürrle, and Müller. (You know what, everyone on the team deserves recognition)
